Real Salt Lake’s match at D.C. United on Saturday night was ended not by the referee’s whistle, but Mother Nature.
The game was stopped in the 29th minute after a torrent of rain and was eventually postponed. The game will restart at 5 p.m. MT Sunday in Washington, D.C.
During the nearly half-hour of action, RSL was outshot 6-1 by the hosts.
